He is a gruff and solitary fisherman from the late 19th century, he hunts rare and monstrous sea creatures and sells them, living or dead, at the main fairs.

From the creatures he sometimes collects personal trophies: like the big carapace he wears to protect himself while hunting (it once belonged to a giant crab from the Hebrides arcipelago).
